Reviewer #1: #1 3.2 TNSS analysis according to severity

In the analysis of the effects among the mild, moderate, and severe groups, a significant difference in TNSS values was confirmed, and this difference was statistically significant (p < 0.001). Furthermore, in post-hoc testing, the Severe group exhibited the highest effect in TNSS values compared to all other groups, with significant differences observed in all comparisons (p < 0.001). Following this, the Moderate group showed a higher effect than the Mild group (Supplement 3., Supplement 4.) Figure 3

I can not find what kind of statistical analysis was conducted in this chapter. Please provide exact information .

I think, as baseline TNSS is different, the authors should not conduct continuous variables analysis (ANOVA), but should conduct Chi-square test which compare proportion of responders according to severity.

The description initially states that the severe group demonstrated the most significant impact in TNSS values compared to others. However, this is inherently expected, given that the severe group has a higher baseline severity in TNSS. Instead, if you want to assess changes based on severity, it would be more valid to analyze group-specific changes, considering variations in BASELINE values. For instance, examining the percentage of individuals with a 50% or more reduction in symptoms might provide a more insightful perspective.

#2 Table 3

What is the meaning of p-value in Table 3?

Editor:
I have made some suggestions on the attached.
In abstract you mention safety in conclusion but I cant' see it in Results? Also conclusion shoudl mention children?
In abstract please add outcome for Numeric rating scale.

Highlights need work. They should be five seperate bullet points.
• Each Highlight can be no more than 85 characters, including spaces
• Write for a general audience. Avoid technical jargon, acronyms, abbreviations, statistical results etc.
• Use some of the keywords you have submitted for the article
• Use active (not passive) language
• Tell a logical story that explains why your research is important e.g., begin with an introductory statement explaining what your research is about; state the study aim and study design; summarize a few key findings; make a concluding statement or recommendation

Title page: please add ORCID numbers. ". Two authors were contributed equally" remove 'were'.
Ensure all acronyms are listed and provided in full at first use eg IgE

Please reorder the information at the end of the manuscript text and use the following headings: Financial support, Data availability, Acknowledgements. The ‘Declaration of competing interests’ and ‘CRediT author statement’ should be deleted and uploaded as separate files. All other information should be deleted or placed in the body of the manuscript text.
